About the event

John Lynch is a certified arborist who has worked in the Los Angeles area for nearly 30 years and brings a deep love of trees, soils, and natural systems to his work. While working with TreePeople he was inspired to explore urban forests and their ability to restore watersheds, cool heat islands, and support diverse living systems.

Please join John along with your new Monarch Mile friends for a casual and inspirational walk down the Chandler Bikeway to identify both the trees that are and the trees that could be on Chandler in the future.

Saturday, November 5th, 9:30 am

The walk begins at the intersection of Chandler Blvd and Pass Ave.

Walking distance of 2-4 miles Chandler is an all-access, flat, paved, path ideal for strollers and wheelchairs.

Dress for the weather; rain or shine

Bring water, snacks, and your bubbling curiosity, "What tree is that?"
