About the event
The Monarch Mile is an inspired all-volunteer group working directly with Burbank's Parks and Recreation Department. The project was formed in 2019 with an eagerness to plant and maintain local native plants along the Chandler Bikeway.
Diverse volunteers of all ages, experiences, talents, and interests are welcome to contact us and join the efforts.
Who can take part?
There is no age minimum to volunteer with , though the type of work might be best suited for age 7+.The Monarch Mile
All minors must be accompanied by an adult and need to fill out a minor release form to participate.* This form can be signed on the day of the event.
*High school students do not need to be accompanied by an adult but must submit a release form.
